Weekly {Pre/Re} View - 10.14.19-10.20.19
Welcome to my *NEW*
Weekly {Pre/Re} View!
There's always so many random things that I see, hear, read, or experience that I don't share with y'all - sometimes I do a little and sometimes not at all (not intentionally though!).
Every Monday - I want to wrap up all of those things in a little package right here for you! There's a terrible stigma around Mondays and I really wanted to give you all something positive to check out or even look forward to on Mondays - it's all about mindset anyway and I'm just trying to help!
I can't wait to share more with you all from yesterday especially! It was so fun catching up with an old friend, meeting new ones and checking out Charlotte's new shop as well as a few more vendors! Keep an eye out on Instagram!
--> I've always been a late bloomer in the makeup department (literally still trying to learn how to contour). Whenever I do have to do a more glam look, I always go to this girl! It's getting close to holiday party time and Krystal gives the best makeup tutorials that even I can follow! I have followed her for years y'all! You can watch her quick Instagram videos or even her more detailed Youtube videos. She's beautiful, fun and so talented with makeup and hair. Go check her out and follow along on her Instagram or subscribe to her Youtube!
This past weekend was jam packed with fun!
Friday:
Complete with pizza - hot chocolate - and Hocus Pocus!
Saturday:
The annual Knoxville Opera Ball! This year's theme was the "Butterfly Ball" since their performance of Madame Butterfly kicks off this year's season! One of opera's most well known and well loved shows, I CANNOT wait to see it next week!

My sweet new friend Lauren McNamara was my date!
This babe also just launched her new app: @digdogapp
Dog Moms/Dads: go download it!
Sunday:
Went "home" for a visit to the Tri-Cities (where I'm from) for some lunch with my parents and meetup with some local influencers from this area!
Then we headed over to Charlotte's Florals to make the cutest bouquets!

So, what happened last week? Well...
I watched the news a whole lot less this week than I normally do but still have some fun to share!
If you follow me on Instagram, you know I'm a HUGE Friends TV Show fan. My love for Jennifer Aniston came out of that and there has been a joke among her celebrity friends about how she needs to join Instagram. Well y'all - she finally did last Tuesday!
...and she freaking BROKE Instagram! (at least on her page). It was amazing.
I saw the news around 10am-ish? She had around 1k followers a little before that and then within 15 minutes jumped to 150k. By that afternoon she had over 2M. She had so many people trying to follow her at the same time that you couldn't!

Real Outfit of the week: Green is my very favorite color & I LOVE these ruffle 3/4 sleeves on this sweater!

Move over PSL...
If you read last week's post you know that I was super excited about it finally feeling like fall and my first pumpkin spice latte of the season. I'm gonna keep on with the pumpkin sharing because I'm pretty sure my pumpkin lovers are missing out on this little treat!
A few years ago I almost missed these babies for fall and found the very last box! Now, I stock up.
I ordered THREE boxes when I got my groceries from the Walmart Grocery app and they're going fast at home!
What I'm reading/watching:
To Read: This may sound a little silly but I've always wanted to be in a book club. I loved to read from a young age but got away from it after college (had to re-learn how to read for fun and not for an assignment). I FINALLY got to join one this year with a small group of Knoxville ladies and I LOVE it! I just finished one of our books and wanted to share for y'all to check out if you're a reader and the blurb interests you!
I listened to it on Audible and while it was great - if I had to do over, I would want to read it instead. There's some overlapping time periods/flashbacks and I like to flip back in a book to refresh my memory sometimes.
It was slow in the beginning but once it starts following each family member individually, I became more and more invested. Disclaimer: It does have some mature and sexual content, so I'd recommend at least 18+.
"If you knew the date of your death, how would you live your life?"
The book opens in 1969 when 4 adolescent children sneak out to a traveling psychic to hear their fortune. Each of the siblings are incredibly different and the lines between destiny & choice and reality & illusion are played out.

To Watch: I'm not normally one to watch reality shows or competition shows regularly. Sometimes I'll watch a season here and there of a show but I've never watched the Voice from start to finish. Just happened to be watching the beginning blind auditions of the current season of The Voice so I have continued to follow along.
Y'all - I HAD to share this battle with you all! There are so many talented singers/songwriters/musicians on this show but this duet gave me goosebumps. GO. WATCH!
And they both got to stay!!
