My mom's side of the family is HUGE. There are over 50 of us when we get together if everyone is able to be there and this is just her siblings and their children and families!

Because of how many of us there are, there was a rule that once you graduated high school you participated in the gift game instead of receiving an actual gift.

So we play "dirty Santa" (or some people call it "white elephant") but the gift limit is only $5! It is always so much fun to see the creativity that family members have it getting a highly sought after item for only $5!

Noticing a theme about my guides? Stop going broke to buy people things! The price of things is NOT the most important part! The people you're giving to also wouldn't want you to go broke - just get creative and be thoughtful with your gift!
